As the state's only pro-choice organization focused exclusively on advocating for reproductive freedom, legislative advocacy is at the heart of what we do at NARAL Pro-Choice South Dakota.

In this decade alone, we've faced more than 20 anti-choice bills in the legislature--everything from abortion bans to refusal clauses to biased counseling mandates.  We've also worked for pro-choice legislation, including legislation that would make emergency contraception available to rape victims in emergency rooms.
