Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers (TRAP)
TRAP laws impose unnecessary and burdensome regulations on abortion providers that are not required of other medical professionals. TRAP laws are not designed to protect women’s health, but are instead one of the anti-choice movement’s most aggressive tools used to try to reduce access to safe and legal abortion.
